The register entry
- Why
- It is the only source that cannot be faked by a footer badge. Status must read Active, and the exact domain must appear in the Domain names tab.
A straight answer, the enforcement record most pages leave out, and a one-minute check you can run yourself before depositing anything.
Yes, in the regulatory sense: it is licensed and legal to use here. The operator is ProgressPlay Limited on UK Gambling Commission account 39335, with remote casino permission active since 1 November 2014, so age verification, GAMSTOP, safer gambling tools and a free dispute service all apply. The same register also records a warning, an extra licence condition and a £1,000,000 penalty against that operator in May 2025 — read that before you decide.
“Safe” is doing a lot of work in this question, so it is worth splitting. A Gambling Commission licence is a set of enforceable obligations, not a quality badge. Here is what it does and does not buy you.
What the licence guarantees
What it does not
This is the part most “is it safe” pages skip, which is odd, because it is the only hard evidence anyone has about how this operator behaves when nobody is watching.
DetailWhat the register records
How to weigh that is a judgement call, and we are not going to make it for you. Two honest readings exist. The pessimistic one: a seven-figure penalty means the failings were substantial and sustained, and an audit condition means the regulator wanted independent eyes on the fixes. The optimistic one: the failings were found, published and priced, the licence stayed active, and an operator that has just been through enforcement is usually the most closely watched in its cohort. What is not defensible is pretending the entry does not exist.
Because the action is against the licensee, it attaches to every brand on the account. Moving to Mobile Wins, Vegas Paradise, Fruity King or any of the other sites listed on our sister sites page does not move you away from it.
These apply to any casino, not just this one, and four of the five take seconds.

If in doubt
We have deliberately written this out rather than posting screenshots of a regulator's website, because the register's layout changes and a stale screenshot is worse than no screenshot. Follow the steps on the live site and you will see the current version.
Step 1
Go to gamblingcommission.gov.uk/public-register and choose Businesses.
Step 2
Search for the account number 39335, or for “ProgressPlay”. The result should name ProgressPlay Limited with a head office in Limassol, Cyprus.
Step 3
On the Licence summary, confirm the remote casino licence shows as Active and note the start date. Suspended, lapsed or surrendered all mean stop.
Step 4
Open the Domain names tab and find the address you are about to use. Each entry carries a status of Active, Inactive or White Label; Inactive means the operator no longer runs it here.
Step 5
Open the Regulatory actions tab. For this account there is one entry, dated 9 May 2025. Read it in full — it is a page, not a paragraph.
Step 6
Back on the casino, scroll to the footer. The licence number there must match the account you just read. If it names a different regulator instead, you are not on a GB-licensed page.
Our about page carries the corporate detail behind the licence, and the review section covers how the site performs once you are past the paperwork.
The licence, the domain list and the enforcement record are all public and take a minute to read. If you are satisfied, new players get 100% up to £1,000 plus 100 spins at 10x wagering with a £20 qualifying deposit.
